Job Description

We are seeking for a Corporate & Government Affairs (CGA) Specialist to cover Greece and Italy . The role is reporting to CGA Lead Southern Europe and is focused on informing and/or influencing multiple categories of internal and external audiences/stakeholders to support the improvement of the environment in which JDE Peet’s operates in the Southern European Cluster, including:

  • Government Relations (influencing government policy and legislative direction to improve JDE Peet’s regulatory and economic environments);
  • Public Relations (communications to the media to protect and promote JDE Peet’s reputation);
  • Community Relations/Corporate Responsibility (active involvement with the communities in which JDE Peet’s operates to address social, economic, and environmental challenges and promote JDE Peet’s’ image in a positive way).
  • Sustainability (participates in the local execution of the sustainability program of JDE Peet’s in the relevant markets, taking into account the strategic guidance of the global sustainability team at JDE Peet’s);
  • Internal communication: Support the development and implement a broad internal communication strategy to ensure a proactive and consistent internal information;
  • Legal support: including Regulatory support, Compliance and operational activities.

For this role as a CGA Specialist GR & IT, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Communication or Public Relation; MA in Law would be an asset.
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience on Corporate Affairs/ Corporate Communications or Legal, preferably in the FMCG or food sector.
  • Ability to translate complex communication messages into clear and relevant content for various target groups.
  • An excellent networker and a solid business partner.
  • Organization-sensitive, analytical, energetic and proactive.
  • Creative, both strategic and pragmatic and with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent command of English, Italian or French would be considered as an asset.
